General Administration Of Customs: China'S Textile And Clothing Export Nearly 300 Billion US Dollars From January To November

According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs on December 7, in terms of US dollars, under the influence of factors such as overstocking of inventory and reduction of orders in major markets, textile and clothing exports from January to November reached 297.63 billion US dollars, close to 300 billion US dollars. In November, the month on month decline was narrowed. This month's textile and clothing exports reached US $24.39 billion, down 2.5% month on month, much lower than the 10.8% of the previous month.

Textile and clothing exports are calculated in RMB: from January to November 2022, the cumulative export of textile and clothing is 1973.63 billion yuan, an increase of 7.0% over the same period of last year (the same below), including 905.83 billion yuan of textile exports, an increase of 6.9%, and 1067.8 billion yuan of clothing exports, an increase of 7.0%.

In November, the export of textile and clothing was 172.94 billion yuan, down 5.9% and 0.3% month on month. Among them, textile export was 79.88 billion yuan, down 6.0% and 1.4% month on month. Clothing export was 93.06 billion yuan, down 5.9% and 1.7% month on month.

Textile and clothing exports are calculated in US dollars: from January to November 2022, the cumulative export of textile and clothing was 297.63 billion US dollars, an increase of 4.3%, including 136.93 billion US dollars of textile exports, an increase of 4.6%, and 160.7 billion US dollars of clothing exports, an increase of 4.1%.

In November, the export of textile and clothing was $24.39 billion, down 14.9% and 2.5% month on month. Among them, the export of textile and garment was $11.27 billion, down 14.9% and 0.9%, respectively. The export of clothing was $13.12 billion, down 14.9% and 3.9% month on month.
